Jameer Paul Small, "Omic So Awasis" meaning Bald Eagle Child, passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014, at his residence in Box Elder.

Wake services began at 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at the family residence in Rocky Boy and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 10, 2014. Burial will follow in the Small Family Cemetery.

Jameer came into our lives on Jan. 5, 2014. For only such a short time, Jameer Small touched so many lives, with his wonderful spirit. Jameer Paul Small went on his journey to be with Notahwi on the seventh day of March 2014. Jameer was born to Guy Ray Small Sr. and Rochelle Ann Booker. Jameer, our handsome baby Angel, was sent from Heaven to come and leave to remind all how precious life is. Jameer put a smile upon everyone who came across his life, and he gave them a happy and joyous soul print that will be forever missed.

Jameer Paul Small was preceeded in death by Paul Rocky Small, Paul Small Sr ., Paul and Cecile Stone, Leona Blackbird, Thomas Arkinson, Maggie (Coffee) Arkinson, Dean Ray Small, Merle Tendoy Jr ., Matthew "Stock" Denny, Curtis "Lard" Denny, Tiffany Booker, Lyndell Gopher and Kaidynce Small.

Jameer is survived by his brother, Guy Ray Small Jr; his sisters, Alexcia Eagleman and Kimora Small; his grandfather, Daniel Dewitt Booker Sr .; his grandmothers, Arlene Arkinson and Ann (Stone) Small; his adoptive grandparents, Merle and Jean Tendoy, Matthew and Joyce Denny, Floyd Old Bull and Pauline Bridges Arkinson; his godparents, Rosemary St. Pierre and Tess Talks Different; his uncles, Warren Small Sr ., Stacey Small, Conrad Small, Brenden Small and Daniel Booker Jr .; his aunties, Michelle Small, April Booker, Nicole Booker and J'Leesa Booker. Jameer also has numerous other beloved relatives from the land of the Chippewa Cree, Assiniboine and Gros Ventre.
