Amtrak provided great service during stayover

I would like to take this opportunity to commend Amtrak personnel for their great service on my recent unscheduled trip to Havre.

Despite all the delays — 12 hours late getting to Havre and seven hours late getting to Everett — none of which were Amtrak's fault, the Amtrak staff did everything they could to keep the passengers informed and comfortable. They repeatedly apologized and graciously bore the blame for the delays. They were right there giving directions and helping with baggage when we had to take buses around avalanches and mud slides.
