New Beginnings Church relocates services

After cleaning out nearly 40 years of material, the New Beginnings Fellowship Church of the Nazarene is moved out of its church at 310 South Dell.

The church will become the location of a new funeral home, operated by Kirkwood Funeral Home of Malta and Edwards Funeral Home of Chinook.

"It took some work," said Paula Powell, wife of Pastor John Powell.

Beginning this weekend, Sunday and Wednesday services will be held at the HRDC building, 2229 5th Ave.

The long-range plan is to build a new church, said Pastor John Powell. But the parish is still working on that.
