Hollandsworth tops Hutchinson

Roy Hollandsworth of Brady has defeated Darrold Hutchinson for the Republican nomination for state representative from District 27.

Unofficials results showed him with 1,480 votes to Hutchinson 780.

A member of the "responsible Republicans," he won in the district that was redrawn to include Liberty and the rural areas of western Hill County.
