Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 12:52 p.m. Wednesday call from 2nd Street about a window that was broken into.

A two-vehicle motor vehicle crash that left a woman disoriented was investigated after officers responded to a 1:47 p.m. Wednesday from 9th Street.

Emily Louise Bechtel, 25, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt at 5:50 p.m. Wednesday at the police station.

———

Officers responded to a 7:14 p.m. Wednesday call from the skate park on 9th Street about the calling party’s nephew being assaulted.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 2:14 p.m. Wednesday call from County Road 800 Northwest about a stolen license plate.

Sadie Madonna Finley, 21, of Chinook was charged with two counts of disorderly conduct, and Hayley Lee Demontiney, 51, of Box Elder and Mary Ruth Demontiney, 52, of Box Elder were charged with one count of disorderly conduct each after an assault at the Hill County Detention Center at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the 100 Block of 3rd Avenue at 9:28 a.m. Wednesday to stand by while a broken elevator at a business with people in it was repaired.

Animal Shelter

A tan female Chihuahua-pug mix was placed in the shelter May 21, a male black Labrador June 4, a brown and white male mix-breed puppy June 7 and a male black Labrador June 11.
