Friday, June 24

Havre Central and Havre High School Class of ’66 reunion will meet at 6 p.m. for registration and pizza dinner at Best Western Plus Havre Inn and Suites.

Hill County 4-H raffle tickets for a 2015 Flex Travel Trailer, donated by Western Trailer Sales, will be sold in Rudyard during Sod Buster Days through June 26. Funds raised will go toward the new Hill County 4-H Chuckwagon.

Saturday, June 25

Summer Reading Program's Missing Piece Day will be at Havre-Hill County Library 1 to 3 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone.

Havre Central and Havre High School Class of ’66 reunion will meet at 6 p.m. for pictures and dinner at Best Western Plus Havre Inn and Suites.

Havre Community Pool is closed this day. For more information, call 265-8161.

Sunday, June 26

Art in the Garden Tour will be 1 to 4 p.m ., with tours of five gardens where artwork is on display. Refreshments are included. Tickets, which are $5 each, with children under 12 free, can be bought at Cavaliers or High Plains Gallery or at any garden the day of the show. For more information, call 265-4723.

Havre Central and Havre High School Class of ’66 reunion will meet for a no-host brunch at the Duck Inn Vineyard Room.

Community Hymn Sing will be at Fifth Avenue Christian Church at 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome.

Monday, June 27

Summer Reading Program's Obstacle Course Day will be at Havre-Hill County Library 1 to 3 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone.

Tuesday, June 28

The Library Art Display Project will presents its newest artist, Addison Kinsella, at a reception at Havre-Hill County Library from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. The public is invited to stop in to meet the artist and view her artwork. Refreshments will be served.

Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club will meet at 2 p.m. in the Timmons Room at the Hill County Courthouse. After the meeting, Paulette Cronk will do a program on flower arranging for a centerpiece and will also hostess. Refreshments will be served. Guests are welcome. For more information, call 265-2133.

NAMI, National Alliance on Mental Illness, will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the basement at 921 3rd St. For more information, call Crystal at 406-879-6646.

Young Adult Short Story Writing Club will be at Havre-Hill County Library 6:30 to 8 p.m. This event is free and open to all youths.

Kicks @ 6 with Sax Cadillac & the Other Brothers and Sistas will perform at Pepin Park at 6 p.m. The public is invited to the concert. Any donations will go to involve children with special needs in music. This week's theme is Born on the Bayou — Creedence Clearwater.

Wednesday, June 29

Summer Reading Program's Gymnastics Day will be at Havre-Hill County Library 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. This event is free and open to everyone.

Sounds on the Square will be 6 to 8 p.m. in Town Square. Featured band will be The Hi-Line Pickers. The public is invited to come listen to the music at this free event.

Books and Babies is at 10:15 a.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Story Time is at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. at the Havre-Hill County Library. The event is free, and everybody is welcome.

Thursday, June 30

Interviewing with Confidence workshop at Havre Job Service will be 9 a.m. to noon. This workshop is free and open to everyone.

Lego Time and Robotics will be from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at Havre-Hill County Library. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 265-2123.

Saturday, July 2

Summer Reading Program's Outside Day will be at Havre-Hill County Library 10 a.m. to noon. This event is free and open to everyone.

Monday, July 4

The Havre 4th of July Festival will start at noon in Pepin Park. The event will include local bands performing, a barbecue, games for the kids, balloon tying, face painters and more. The public is invited to this free event.

The Pepin Park Program will be closed for the Fourth of July celebration. For more information, call 265-5781 or 265-8161.

Wednesday, July 6

Sounds on the Square will be 6 to 8 p.m. in Town Square. Featured band will be Tales from Ghost Town. The public is invited to come listen to the music at this free event.

Friday, July 8

Summer Reading Program's Football Day will be at Havre High School's West Football Field 3 to 6 p.m. This event is free and open to everyone.

Saturday, July 9

Book Bingo for adults and children accompanied by an adult will be 4 p.m. at the Book Exchange – Emporium in the upper level of the Atrium Mall, 220 3rd Ave, Suite 411. This free event is to promote literacy. For more information and to reserve a seat, space is limited, call 406-217-5222.

Monday, July 11

The 2016 tennis lesson program with the Parks and Recreation Department will begin its first session today this day. It runs July 11-29. Lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced will be offered. For more information, call 265-5781 or 265-8161.

Sounds on the Square will be 6 to 8 p.m. in Town Square. Featured band will be Only for the Moment. The public is invited to come listen to the music at this free event.

Summer Reading Program's Simon Says Day will be at Havre-Hill County Library 10 a.m. to noon. This event is free and open to everyone.

Hill County 4-H raffle tickets for a 2015 Flex Travel Trailer, donated by Western Trailer Sales, will be sold at the Great Northern Fair through July 24. Funds raised will go toward the new Hill County 4-H Chuckwagon.

A healing seminar is being presented at the Beaver Creek Golf Course 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Topics at the free seminar include the kabbala, reiki and metaphysics. For more information, call 399-6538.

Thursday, July 21

“The Life of Nancy Cooper Russell,” a Humanities Montana presentation by Mary Jane Bradbury, will be featured in the Old Faber School House at the Great Northern Fairgrounds at 6 p.m. Nancy Cooper Russell was a self-taught business woman who, in the early 1900s, helped her husband, Charles M. Russell, become the era’s highest paid living artist. This program is free and open to the public.

I would LOVE to see our community list more events in this section. So many times you hear from a friend that went to some event or fundraiser that you didn't even hear about. Would love to see any little thing going on in Havre to be posted here.
