Beverly was born on March 13, 1930, in Jamestown, North Dakota, to Robert and Alvina (Nelson) Larson.  She was raised in North Dakota, moving to Olympia, Washington, at age 18 to live with her stepmother and work as a telephone operator.  While in Olympia, Beverly met Donald E. Brostrom, and the couple married on Aug. 1, 1953, in Olympia. A few years later, the couple moved to Spokane, Washington, for Don's work.  Sometime later, they were transferred to Havre and back to Spokane, before relocating to Havre for the final time in 1962. Don and Beverly remained in Havre from that point forward, raising their three children there. She worked for Mountain Bell as a telephone operator, retiring in 1983.

Beverly was a loving wife and mother, who enjoyed camping, gardening, caring for her flowers, and traveling with Don in the United States and Canada. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandsons. She was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church and the Eagles Auxiliary.

Beverly was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don Brostrom; her parents, Robert and Alvina Larson; her stepmother, Marguerite Eke; her sisters, Dorothy and Betty Seidlinger; her brother, Richard Larson; and her infant sister, Gwendolyn Larson.

She is survived by her children, Debra (Ronald) Sampson of Hingham and Valerie (Tom) Farnham and Don (Trina) Brostrom, all of Havre; her five grandchildren, Jennifer Brostrom, Franklin Springer, RaeAnn Brostrom, Brandon Brostrom and Angel Jean Sampson; her great-grandsons, Landen and Easton Odegard; and numerous nieces and nephews.
