Local swimmers, runners compete in Missoula events

The Havre Lions Swim Team recently competed in the 33rd annual Firecracker Invitational in Missoula, and Havre swimmers posted some great results.

The meet, which was held in late June at Splash Montana in Missoula, attracts swimmer and swim clubs from all over the Pacific Northwest.

Havre’s Natalie Padgett finished first in the girls U8 100 LC Butterfly with a time of 2:42.91. Kyla Burchard finished first in the girls U8 100 freestyle with a time of 1:37.39, while Kobi Burchard finished third in the girls 9-10 100 freestyle with a time of 1:19.59.
