Havre pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

Cash, drugs taken from Western Drugs

Havre police are looking for a woman suspected of robbing a Havre pharmacy at gunpoint Monday.

Havre Police Department Lt. Aaron Wittmer said a person brandished a handgun inside Western Drug in Havre, demanding prescription narcotics and cash. The pharmacy was closed Monday afternoon following the robbery.

Wittmer said about 3 p.m. Monday that the police did not have anyone in custody and had no suspects at the moment.

Police are looking for a woman, 5-foot tall, wearing a green hood.

The robbery led to a temporary lockdown of the Hill County Courthouse and its annex that contains the county health department.

Wittmer said a member of the public had reported that they were following a suspected vehicle, but when officers stopped that vehicle it was not the right one.

Anyone with any knowledge of the robbery is asked to call Havre Police at 265-4361. Details in Tuesday's Havre Daily News.

These druggies get to the point they don't care about anyone and are capable of a lot of scary things. I like the harsher punishments and also help along with the time. This person was not thinking rational and seemed very desperate. She needs caught and punished. Lets keep Havre safe. If the description sounds familiar there is a anonymous hot line to call. Don't hesitate. Don't hesitate on anything suspicious in your neighborhood.

Cares4People writes:

No one should commit armed robbery. But suggesting life sentences and/or the death penalty for drug addicts is heartless. These people need help such as the DUI/Drug Court.

stopcrime writes:

I am Thankful Dominique, her employee's and also the officers involved are safe . This stuff has to stop. Until druggies start getting life sentences or even death sentence's (hey they are killing our kids selling these drugs to them) then it will continue on. If the description reminds you of anyone turn them in.

WOW I drove by while there was a police car out front with no one in it and the lights going. Thought it was strange, but very glad no one was hurt. Please keep our officers safe and find this desperate person quickly before she hurts or kills someone. This is not the act of a rational person.

Seriously writes:
