Britt resentenced for violating parole

A man who pleaded guilty in 2004 to drug charges and to putting a man in the hospital in a vicious beating in North Havre and pleaded guilty in 2005 to tampering with a witness in the assault case was sentenced Thursday for using drugs while out on probation.

Ronald W. Britt, born in 1976, tested positive for drugs after he was arrested in Billings on accusations of associating with a wanted fugitive and fleeing from police himself while serving a suspended sentence.
