Alta Mae Martin-Stuker

Alta Mae Martin-Stuker, 73, of Seattle, went to be with the Lord on Sunday,

aug. 10th 2014, at the Queen Anne Healthcare Center. She was born April 21, 1941 in Fort Belknap. Montana, the daughter of Jim Snow I and Cecelia Martin-The Boy.

She was united in marriage to Gary Stuker in Havre. There they started their family. In 1978 they divorced and shortly thereafter she moved to Seattle where she resided until her passing. In her spare time she enjoyed bingo and spending time with her friends, family, children and grandchildren. She raised three of here grandchildren. They held a special place in her heart, Becca Stuker, Arturo Cruz and Juan Islas.

  She is survived by her children, Robert Martin Stuker, Lesley Martin Left Hand( Les), Leah Link (Joe), Lana, Lila and Jeanette Stuker; sisters, Connie Lang, Dorthy Stout and Melvina Snow; brother, Ozzy Snow; and sister-in-law, Margaret June Martin. She also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jim Snow II and mother, Cecelia Martin The Boy; brothers, Harold, Bernard, and Joseph Martin, Ronald and Theodore The Boy, James III, Kermit and Gilbert Snow; sisters, Thelma Martin, Eleanor Sullivan, Winona Gives and infants Alberta and Lou Ann Snow; her children, Randall, Chris and Harold Stuker.

Wake will be held Thursday, Aug. 14, at the Mission in Hays, Montana. Funeral services are Friday Aug. 15., at the Mission in Hays, Montana. Burial will follow on Martins Hill. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.
