Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 7:29 a.m. Friday call from McKinley Avenue about someone hitting the calling party’s mailbox.

Officers investigated a 10:12 a.m. Friday complaint at the police station about the calling party stating she had some items stolen from her house in Rocky Boy and found them at a pawn shop.

———

Officers responded to a 10:33 a.m. Friday call from 9th Street about the calling party saying she had been gone for a couple weeks and on her return, she found that someone had kicked in her back door but nothing was stolen.

———

Officers notified public works after receiving a 10:57 a.m. Friday call from Highland Park School on Washington Avenue about water coming up out of the street.

———

Officers investigated an 11:58 a.m. Friday call from 2nd Street about someone breaking in and stealing the calling party’s Xbox.

———

A two-vehicle noninjury motor vehicle accident was investigated after officers received a 3:24 p.m. Friday call from 2nd Avenue and 7th Street.

Justine Philomene Bauer, 23, of Havre was arrested on probation violation after officers responded to a 5:12 p.m. Friday call from 3rd Street to make a house check.

———

Ronald Brian Folk, 18, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 7:32 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about a man with a warrant at the service center.

Ryan Michael Greenough, 31, of Havre was arrested on a state District Court warrant after an officer served it to him at 8:05 p.m. Friday at a 3rd Avenue business.

———

Kenneth Schweitzer, 52, of Hingham was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and a headlamp violation after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 10:14 p.m. Friday on 1st Street.

———

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on a charge of assault after officers responded to a 10:29 p.m. Friday call from Northern Montana Hospital about a combative boy.

———

Jay Perry Springer, 50, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and unlawful restraint after officers responded to a 1:12 a.m. Saturday call from 6th Avenue about a woman in a yard screaming.

———

Officers investigated a 7:20 a.m. Saturday call from 2nd Street and 4th Avenue West about the calling party getting hit by a car.

———

Heather Rose Cochran, 26, of Harlem was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and on a Justice or City court warrant and Nicholas Ryan Pyle, 31, of Havre was arrested on charges of shoplifting, criminal contempt and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a 10:28 a.m. Saturday call from 11th Street West about two women trying to steal items from the store.

Officers investigated a 11:09 a.m. Saturday call from Lincoln Avenue about someone blowing up his mail box the night prior.

Officers investigated a 2:10 p.m. Saturday call from Boulevard Avenue about a hit and run.

Officers investigated a 3:44 p.m. Saturday call from 2nd Street about dogs locked in a trailer.

Officers investigated a 5:26 p.m. Saturday call from 3rd Street about a found pink and purple children’s bicycle.

Officers investigated a 6:46 p.m. Saturday call from 15th Street West about a stolen cell phone.

James Dean Stump, 27, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct, Chad Julian Cochran, 34, of Harlem was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal contempt and failure to register as a sexual or violent offender, Blair Michael Stump, 26, of Box Elder was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and David John Licht Jr., 31, of Missoula was arrested on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, no insurance, resisting arrest, criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and two counts of assault with bodily fluid after an officer initiated an investigation at 10:59 p.m. Saturday at a 2nd Street business about a fight in progress.

Officers investigated a 2:22 p.m. Saturday call from Cleveland Avenue about a noninjury motor vehicle accident.

———

Officers investigated a 6:12 p.m. Saturday call from an 11st Street West business about a needle found in the store.

———

Officers investigated an 8:02 p.m. Saturday call from 3rd Street about the calling party’s garage being broken into.

———

Officers investigated an 8:22 p.m. Saturday call from 18th Avenue Northeast about the calling party’s bike being stolen again.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Aleisha Morningstar The Boy, 23, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant in the Hill County Detention Center lobby at 12:06 p.m. Friday.

Heather Rose Cochran, 26, of Harlem was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and served two Blaine County Justice Court warrants at the HCDC at 11:11 a.m. Saturday.

Ronald Bryan Folk Sr., 44, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and violation of conditions of release after officers responded to a 1:46 p.m. Sunday call from U.S. Highway 2 East.

———

Deputies investigated a 7:53 p.m. Sunday call from Fresno after the calling party’s son not returning from staying with a friend at Fresno.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Friday, two calls Saturday, five calls Sunday and one call this morning.

———

Firefighters were called to the 4400 Block of 16th Street Northeast to address a cut power line.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male pit bull mix was placed in the shelter June 27, a black and white female German shorthair Aug. 6, a tan, brown and white female beagle mix Aug. 7 and black, brown and white male beagle Aug. 10.
