Michael Arthur Sutherland, 39, of Box Elder was arrested on a state District Court warrant after an officer served it to him at 9:39 a.m. Monday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Officers investigated a 2:29 p.m. Monday call from 11th Street West about a stolen black and white peppered Huffy bicycle.

Officers investigated a 7:56 p.m. Monday call from 18th Street about a woman seven months pregnant who was assaulted by the calling party’s ex-boyfriend.

Carmelita Marie Lamere, 58, of Box Elder was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after officers responded to an 8:14 p.m. Monday call from 2nd Street Northeast about people fighting.

Officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station.

Officers investigated a 10:30 p.m. Monday call from 2nd Street West about a stolen bike and laptop.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 12:34 p.m. Monday call from U.S. Highway 2 Northwest about a found wallet that had a checkbook, IDs, credit cards and $13.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to one call Monday.

Firefighters were called to the 1600 Block of Highway 2 Northwest at 7:38 a.m. Monday to put out a fire in the box of a pickup.

Firefighters were called to the 600 Block of 14th Street at 10:58 p.m. Monday to address an alarm activation that was cause by debris in the air when a furnace came on.

Animal Shelter

A female black Labrador puppy was place in the shelter Sept. 4, a tan and white male shepherd mix Sept. 4. and a black and white female mix-breed dog Sept. 6.
