Lights, Skylights golf teams compete in Butte

The Montana State University-Northern men’s and women’s golf teams now have a tournament under their belt this season.

In less than ideal conditions, the Lights and Skylights competed at the season-opening Montana Tech Invitational Monday and Tuesday at the Butte Country Club. The tournament featured 36 holes Monday and another 18 in Tuesday’s final round.

Out of the nine teams in the women’s field, the Skylights finished sixth overall. Team scores and individual scores were incomplete at press time from the women’s tournament, but Westminster did win the event with a 645. Comp...
