Officers investigated a 7:58 a.m. Monday call from Havre Middle School about found drug paraphernalia.

Officers investigated a 10:26 a.m. Monday call from 3rd Street about a bike that had been left in the alley for four days.

Officers investigated a 1:23 p.m. Monday call from 5th Street about the calling party leaving her house for a few minutes and, while she was gone, it was egged again.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 12:04 p.m. Monday call from a U.S. Highway 2 business about a shoplifter.

Michael Daniel Powell, 58, of Chinook was served a Blaine County Justice Court warrant at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Macy Rae Belcourt, 26, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of probation violation after a deputy served it to her at 3:43 p.m. Monday on Boulevard Avenue.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of speeding, driving without a driver’s license and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 8:54 p.m. on U.S. Highway 87.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Monday.

Firefighters were called to the 4500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West at 2:18 p.m. to put out a vehicle fire that started in the engine compartment after an electrical problem ignited fuel. The fire was extinguished with minor damage.

Animal Shelter

A female black Labrador puppy was placed in the shelter Sept. 4, a tan and white male shepherd-mix Sept. 4 and a black and white male Labrador mix Sept. 14.

Births

A girl was born to Markie and Jared Rohrback of Havre Sept. 15, 2014.
