A noninjury motor vehicle crash between a silver Jeep and green Dodge was investigated after officers responded to an 11:06 a.m. Monday call from 1st Street.

Tammie Laforge, 47, of Great Falls was issued a summons on a charge of shoplifting after officers responded to a 1:05 p.m. Monday call from a 1st Street business about a noncombative female shoplifter.

Sharman Key Gonzales, 52, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt after officers responded to a 9:42 p.m. Monday call from 4th Street about the calling party’s sister trying to assault her.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 10:23 a.m. Monday call from U.S. Highway 87 about an item that was stolen out of a vehicle that was left on the side of the highway after a Montana Highway Patrol arrest.

Jared Nicholas Hofeldt, 30, of Havre and Timothy Lee Dennis, 31, of Havre were arrested on Justice or City court warrants after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 10:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. Highway 2.
