Welter home named Garden of the Week

The garden of Butch and Lori Welter is the Bullhook Blossoms Garden Club's Garden of the Week. The landscaping was designed and built by the homeowners with with pavers, bricks and decorative rocks.

The small bridge in the front was hand-built.

All areas of the gardens are filled with rocks and several varieties of perennial plants. It has become a true perennial garden.

During the spring there are several oriental lilies that fill the gardens with an array of color and fragrance while several other plants produce beautiful greenery.

Sedum covers the ground throughout the gardens and blooms in the summer months creating a soft yellow blanket.

A variety of roses, phlox, geraniums, campanula, bleeding hearts, daylilies and coreopsis bloom throughout the summer.
