In the morning of Sept. 29, 2014, Lori Nowel passed away at home after a one-year battle with brain cancer. Her family was caring her for.

She was one of the original group to organize the Pat Tillman Run and continued to support it even after she became ill.

Her father, Charles Crowley, precedes Lori in death. She is survived by her husband, Peter Nowel; one daughter, Lindy (Ryan) Vogt; two sons, Luke and Cody Nowel; two grandchildren, Adia and Landon Vogt; her mother, Marie Crowely; brother, Charles (Barbara) Crowley of Chinook, Montana; sisters, Gail (Jim) Soper of Plains, Montana, Toni Lyons of Glendale, Arizona, Beth (Ed) Keeling of Havre, Montana, and Mari (Marty) Stratton of Havre, Montana. Many nieces and nephews also survive her.

In her journey through life, Lori met many wonderful people who remained her friends. She considered them as part of her "family."

Burial will be at West Haven Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Pat Tillman Foundation (pattillmanfoundation.org) or a charity of your choice.
