Speech judging invite extended to members of community

The coaches of the Havre High School speech and debate team are extending an invitation to anyone interested in judging speech, drama or debate Saturday, Oct. 25.

“We’re contacting people on our list, but we always seem to miss someone who would like to judge,” head coach Tim Leeds said.

Leeds said people can contact him about judging at [email protected] or by calling or texting him at 406-552-9023.

He said he expects to see competition in all Class ABC speech, debate and drama events, with rounds at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon and 2 p.m.

A hospitality room with refreshments will be available at the tournament,

The coaching staff members will host a judging clinic Wednesday, Oct. 22, starting at 7 p.m. in the high school library.
