Friday's Prep Football: Blue Ponies run over Polson

The Havre High football team needed a win. And thanks to a dominant running game, the Blue Ponies got on Friday night at Blue Pony Stadium. Behind over 200 yards on the ground, including 100-yard games from Parker Filius and Dane Warp, the Ponies toppled Northwest A power Polson 39-21.

Havre scored 20 points in the second quarter, and was never threatened after that. Kody Pribyl rushed for two scores, while Warp threw three TD passes, including two to Jacob Labrie.

The win pushed HHS's over record to 3-5. The Ponies remain 1-2 in the Central A and face Browning in the regular season finale next Friday night.
