Obituary - Donna Ruth (Qualey) Kapperud

Donna Ruth (Qualey) Kapperud, 86, a Gildford-area farm wife who loved music, sewing, quilting, crocheting, writing letters and playing cards, died peacefully Sunday, Nov. 2, at the Northern Montana Care Center, in Havre.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 6, at the New Beginnings Lutheran Church in Rudyard. A reception will follow at the church. Graveside services will be 1:30 p.m. at Hingham Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by Rockman Funeral Chapel, Chester.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mad to the Northern Montana Hospital Foundation's Donna Kapperud Music Fund or donor's choice.

Donna is survived by four children, Linda (Ken) Boggs of Great Falls, LaNay (Cathy Kapperud of Gildford, Marla Kapperud of Minneapolis and Lorrie Hanson of Forest Lake, Minnesota; seven grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Norman, in 2011; and her brother, Lester.
