Letters to the Editor: Thanks for backing Haunted Walkway

The Atchison family would like to thank Havre and surrounding communities for the support shown during our “Haunted Walkway” during All Hallows Eve.

We started back in 2010 with just a little bit of dress-up while we passed out candy to the kids that came by. This year, in addition to our tunnel that led up to our “Butcher Shop” we also had a graveyard scene that we welcomed older children to walk around to get their candy.

Barring injury or illness we intend to expand little by little through the years to provide a thrilling experience for those who stop by.

After realizing our regular scares may be too much for younger children, we set up a divider to allow those people to go get candy without getting jump scared away. It is still a learning experience for us and we are very excited for next year so we can fine tune the “Haunted Walkway” to bring even more fun and excitement during All Hallows Eve.
