An officer issued a summons or made an arrest, no details available, after a report from a 1st Street convenience store at 12:02 p.m. Monday that a shoplifter was recorded on video.

An officer investigated a report from 10th Street made at 12:56 p.m. Monday that the caller had seen two people take some items off of the porch of the caller’s neighbor.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy took a male beagle-pug mixed-breed dog and a male beagle to Bear Paw Veterinary Service after the dogs were reported running loose at a U.S. Highway 2 West business at 3:44 p.m. Monday.
