Blue Pony Dani Wagner named First-Team All-Conference

The 2014 volleyball season is one the Havre Blue Ponies would probably like to forget. They finished with a total of just four victories and finished fourth in the Central A regular season standings and at the divisional tournament.
Yet, even though the season was a bit of a disappointment, the Ponies did manage to get a slew of players on the 2014 Central A All-Conference Team.
Belgrade and Lewistown dominated the First Team with five selections between the two of them, but HHS setter/outside hitter Dani Wagner was also selected to the team after a stellar all-around season. She was among the Central A leaders in aces, kills and assists.
The three from Belgrade on the team were Kyle McCree, Olivia Kleinsasser and Kyra Fisher. The Lewistown representatives on the team were Jaree Mare and Michelle Monger. Emily Cornell of Livingston rounded out the First-Team.
McCree and Kleinsasser ended up the only two representatives from the Central A conference on the 2014 Class A All-State volleyball team.
Havre’s Reggie Bernard was the only Pony to make her way onto the Second Team, while Lewistown had two make the team with Lexi Anderson and Sydney Weir both earning their way onto the squad. Jaime Woolman of Belgrade, Lindzi Printz of Livingston, Sierra Higgs of Livingston and Melissa Flamond of Browning made up the rest of the second team.
The Honorable Mention team featured two players from HHS in sophomore Naomi Terry and senior Jordyn Warren. The other players that made honorable mention were Andrea Fairchild of Livingston, Hailey Peterson of Livingston, Nicole Karhi of Lewistown, as well as Maddie Orrell and Hannah Gouilet of Belgrade.
