Havre Police Department

An officer issued a warning after receiving a call from 2nd Street at 6:11 Tuesday morning in which the caller said someone was in the caller’s garage.

An officer arrested Scott William Shreeve, 40, of Havre on a state District Court warrant at 11:21 a.m. Tuesday.

After a caller from a 1st Street hotel reported at 11:52 a.m. Tuesday that someone was sitting on a bench outside drinking, an officer issued a summons on a charge of open container to William Joseph Williams Jr, 29, of Havre.

An officer made an arrest after a caller from a 6th Street location reported at 4:20 p.m. Tuesday an assault, but no details were available in the police call log.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop on 1st. Street at 8:25 p.m. arrested Karl AllanLarson, 45, of Havre, on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, operating a motor vehicle with fictitious license plates, failure to carry or produce proof of insurance, two City or Judtice court warrants and on a pick up and hold order

An officer investigated a report of a hit-and-run crash made from 4:32 p.m. Wednesday from 1st Street.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

After a deputy took a complaint at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday from the 2200 Block of Old Post Road about a vehicle sitting unattended for about a week, the vehicle was impounded.

A deputy was unable to locate a vehicle a caller reported at 9:12 p.m. Tuesday was speeding and passing in a no-passing zone about 20 miles of Havre on U.S. Highway 2.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Tuesday, three calls Wednesday and one this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter Wednesday morning held a male, black, white and tan mixed-breed heeler dog, a male, tan and white terrier, and a male, orange and white cat.

Births

A girl was born to Jennifer and Kevin Haas of Glendive Dec. 3, 2014.
