Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a report made at the police department at 5:15 p.m. Friday of a theft of firearms.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop at 8:15 p.m. Friday on 3rd Avenue issued a summons to Celisia LeeAnn Eagleman, 23, of Havre on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance.

An officer issued a warning to “move along” after seeing two pickup trucks stopped in the street at 9:52 p.m. Friday on 14th Street West.

An officer responding to a call at 1:25 a.m. Saturday from a 1st Street West restaurant in which the caller said a man was passed out in the bathroom arrested Jaron Calfrobe, 20, of Heart Butte on charges of disorderly conduct and minor in possession of intoxicants.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop at 2:02 a.m. Saturday on Main Street arrested David Arthurbowers Nelson Jr., 27, of Redstone on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants and careless driving.

After a caller at 2:26 a.m. Saturday on 2nd Avenue reported a man came home drunk and pulled her by the hair, an officer arrested Robert Joseph Sunchild, 32, of Havre on charges of partner or family member assault and criminal contempt.

After a caller at 5:12 a.m. Saturday said a man was yelling in an alley off Boulevard Avenue, an officer arrested Anthony James Corcoran, 33, of Box Elder on charges of disorderly conduct, criminal trespass to property, criminal contempt and obstructing a peace officer.

An officer at 8:05 a.m. Saturday at the police department issued a summons to Christina Mary Converse, 35, of Havre on a charge of criminal contempt for allegations of a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

An officer investigated a 10:19 a.m. Saturday report from the 200 Block of 2nd Avenue of a non-injury crash between a black pickup truck and a black Chrysler car.

An officer investigated a 12:29 p.m. Saturday report from 1st Street West of a hit-and-run crash involving a purple Dodge Stratus.

——

An officer investigated a 2:12 p.m. Saturday report from the 400 Block of 9th Street of a hit-and-run crash.

After a caller from a 1st Street West hotel said at 10:58 p.m. Saturday that a man “in a towel covered by feces (is) going room to room” an officer arrested Jalen Ulysses Grant, 20, of Browning on charges of disorderly conduct and MIP.

An officer at the police department at 9:23 a.m. Sunday arrested Christina Mary Converse, 35, of Havre on a charge of criminal contempt for allegations of a 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

After a caller from a 1st Street casino at 9:48 p.m. requested an officer remove a woman from the casino, an officer arrested Larae Ann Sunchild, 33, of Havre on charges of criminal contempt and obstructing a peace officer and on a Justice or City court warrant and arrested Sheldon Joseph Flying, 45, of Havre on a charge of criminal contempt.

An officer making a motor vehicle stop at 1:09 this morning on 9th Street issued summonses to Albert Denny, 18, of Rocky Boy on a charge of driving without a license and to a 17-year-old giril, hometown not listed, on a charge of curfew violation.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy on a call listed as “drug offense” responding to a call from dumpsters near Stone Child College at Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation at 2:32 a.m. Sunday made two arrests. Details were not available in the call report received by the Havre Daily News this morning.

A deputy responding to a 6:07 p.m. Sunday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business issued a summons to Tysha Michelle Williams, 40, of Havre on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

A deputy investigating activity at the Fresno Reservoir boat dock at 6:56 p.m. Sunday arrested Eric William Koop, 32, of Havre on two Justice or City court warrants.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical techicians responded to two calls Friday, four calls Saturday and one call Sunday.

Firefighters responded to a call Friday at 9:58 a.m. Friday on U.S. Highway 87 when a drill hit a natural gas line.

——

Firefighters responded to a 10:02 a.m. Friday call from the 200 Block of 1st Street to a fire that had started from overheated euqipment which burned a carpet and caused some smoke damage. The fire went out by itself.

Firefighters responded to a call from the 200 Block of 5th Avenue at 9:07 p.m Saturday in which a sprinkler system started after a water pipe broke. The firefighteres returned at 10:25 p.m Saturday when the system started again when people were trying to repair the pipe.

Firefighters responded to a call at 6:43 a.m. Sunday when a malfunctioning pellet stove was putting smoke out into a residence.

Montana Highway Patrol

Emergency personnel including a trooper and Havre emergency medical technicians responded to a one-vehicle rollover at 6:07 a.m Saturday on U.S. Highway 2 about 1 1/2 miles east of Havre.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the shelter held a male black, white and tan mixed-breed heeler dog; a female brown, black and white mixed breed terrier, and a male black and white husky.

Births

A boy was born to Nevada and Tanner Hafer of Havre Dec. 19, 2014.
