Havre Police Department

An officer investigated a crash between a Chevrolet Colorado pickup truck and a Pontiac Grand Am reported at 1:24 p.m. from the 1200 Block of 1st Street.

An officer investigated a report of theft, forgery or fraud made at the police station at 1:52 p.m. Monday.

An officer investigated a check fraud reported at the police station at 3:16 p.m. Monday.

After a 1st Street business reported at 3:53 p.m. Monday that employees had a shoplifter in custody, an officer issued a summons to a 16-year-old boy, residence not listed, on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

After Shelli Nicole Sayers, 34, of Havre called the police at 12:58 this morning from Wilson Avenue to complain about an argument, an officer issued a summons to Sayers on a charge of criminal contempt.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy investigated a report made at 8:16 a.m. Monday from an establishment in Box Elder that someone had stolen a back pack.

Monday at 2:59 p.m. deputies served a state District Court warrant to Travis Jay Marble, 37, of Bonners Ferry, Idaho.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Monday.

Firefighters responded to a report made Monday at 1:46 p.m. from a residence on the 1700 Block to of 2nd Street about a smoke odor. The firefighters found that the fan was not running in a furnace in the residence and advised the resident to call an electrician to fix the problem.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male black, white and tan mixed-breed heeler; a female brown, black and white mixed-breed terrier, a male blach and white husky and a female black, white and tan mixed-breed pug.
