Havre Police Department

An officer investigated a 7:10 a.m. Wednesday report from 1st Street that a driver drove a dark blue Dodge Durango away from a business without paying for gasoline.

Officers responded to a caller saying at 10:56 a.m. Wednesday that a bomb was emplaced at Havre High School.

——

A caller reported at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday that a man was at a gas station and convenience store on 1st Street West and he had been told to stay away. The police call log shows an arrest was made but no details were available.

An officer issued a warning after a caller from 9th Avenue West at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday said her ex-boyfriend was threatening to “come over and assault her.”

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy investigated a report at 7:39 p.m. Wednesday from Northern Montana Hospital that a man came to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his hand.

A call from a gas station on the 1900 Block of U.S. Highway 2 at 3:43 in which the caller reported a hit and run was referred to another agency.

A deputy investigated a report made at 5:12 p.m. Wednesday of an assault of an inmate of the Hill County jail.

After a call came in from a business on the 3500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 West, a deputy arrested Mindy L. Henderson, 38, of Box Elder on a charge of theft by shoplifting.

Havre Fire Department

Havre emergency medical technicians repsonded to two calls Wednesday and two this morning.

Havre firefighters at 11:10 a.m. Wednesday responded to a bomb threat at Havre High School.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a male, black and white husky; a male, gray cat; a female, calico cat; and a male brown, black and tan, mixed-breed husky.
