MSU Extension offers free online magazine

Montana State University Extension

BOZEMAN — Big Sky Small Acres: Rural Living in Montana, a magazine produced triannually by Montana State University Extension for busy landowners and backyard enthusiasts, is now available for free online.

The magazine, which has been in circulation since 2008, features practical articles on topics including weed and water management, horticulture, wildlife and habitat, insects and pests, and more.

Using frequent questions to MSU Extension offices and needs assessment surveys, the publication identifies resources and provides information and do-it-yourself solutions to common Montana issues.

To start a free online subscription, or a new print annual subscription for $12, people can visit http://www.msuextension.org/BSSA. The site showcases the current issue and includes an archive of all previous articles. People with questions can contact the MSU Extension publications office at 406-994-3273 by email at [email protected].
