Debbie Stewart

Debbie Stewart, 46, of Havre, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at her residence. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 16, 2015, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church.  Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery.  The family has requested that memorials be made in Debbie's name to the charity of the donor's choice.  Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with services and arrangements.  Please visit Debbie's online memorial page and leave a message of condolence for her family at http://www.hollandbonine.com.

  Debbie was born on June 13, 1968, in Havre, to James and Donna (Burke) Stewart. She was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School in 1986.  Debbie attended one semester at Montana State University- Northern before working as a waitress and cook for a few years.  She went back to college for one more semester, and returned to cooking and waitressing, for a total of 15 years in food service, working for the Duck Inn, Uncle Joe's and 4-Bs. She worked as a wrangler in Glacier Park for a couple of years, before moving on to work in the construction industry as a flagger for the past several years.

  Debbie was a social woman who enjoyed working with horses and socializing with her friends. She was easy to talk to and loved people.  But she was reserved until she got to know you. In her quiet time, Debbie enjoyed cross-stitching.

  She was preceded in death by her mother, Donna (Burke) Stewart; and she is survived by her father, James Stewart of Havre; and her brother; Daniel Stewart of Slocomb, Alabama.
