Havre High School names two Students of the Month

Chido Chikwava has been chosen as Havre High School’s December 2014 Student of the Month.

Chido is the daughter of Rudo Ambayi and Sam Wurz and sister to Callista, 15 months, and Nathaniel, 15 months.

Chido was a manager for the volleyball team and works at McDonald’s. In her spare time she enjoys listening to music and watching basketball and football games. Her plans include going to a pre-med program out of state and later becoming an OB/GYN.

Mr. Gunderson nominated Chido because of her positive attitude and the quality of work she completes in class. He feels Chido is an exemplary student because she works well with others and her work is always some of the best in class. Mr. Gunderson says “The best thing about having Chido in class is her attitude. She is always positive and has a smile on her face.” Chido can also be funny at times and has a great sense of humor.

Tyler Davey has been chosen Havre High’s December 2014 Student of the Month. Tyler is the son of Phil and Shellie Sayers and J. Bob and Ruby Hould. He is the brother of Rogan, Kendon, Grayson, Cole, Hunte and Tucker. He is 18 years old and a senior.

Tyler participates in high school rodeo and enjoys hunting, riding dirt bikes and hanging out with friends. He works at Korb Construction.

Mr. Finneman nominated Tyler based on Tyler’s activity in the woodshop. Tyler is in two of Mr. Finneman’s classes and has demonstrated a number of admirable qualities on numerous occasions.

“Tyler has a pleasant personality. He is respectful and polite and gets along extremely well with his fellow students.”

Mr. Finneman said “Tyler is my lead carpenter in the construction technology class. I can count on his work being excellent, and he encourages other students to do the same.”

Tyler would like to become a lineman and a rancher. He also aspires to be in professional rodeo.
