Annual local Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner set for Sunday

The annual Republican Lincoln-Reagan Day Dinner political fundraiser will take place Sunday, Feb. 15. at the Duck Inn Olympic Room, 1300 1st St.

This event will be hosted by the Hill County and Blaine County Republican Central Committees.

Andrew Brekke, Hill County Republican chair, said Sen. Steve Daines and Montana Attorney General Tim Fox will be the keynote speakers.

Fox was sworn in two years ago, the only statewide Republican to be elected in a Democratic sweep.

“Our local legislators will also be on hand — Sen. Kris Hansen, Rep.Stephanie Hess (and) Rep.Bruce Meyers … They will be speaking as well,” Brekke said.

Brekke said a prime rib dinner will be served, and there will be a live auction, silent auction and 50/50 drawing.

Tickets are $50 and can be reserved with Brekke or purchased at the door.

Cocktail hour will begin at 5 p.m. and dinner will begin at 6 p.m.

Brekke added that it would be helpful if people RSVP’d to this event.
