Derek Paul Converse, 30, of Havre was arrested on charges of probation violation and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after officers investigated a 3:20 p.m. Friday call from 10th Avenue about a stolen vehicle.

Vanessa Dawna Webb, 29, of Hays was issued a summons on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and a headlamp violation after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 6:23 p.m. Friday on Montana Avenue.

Gina Marie Griggs, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of purchase or possession of an intoxicant by a minor after officers responded to an 8:16 p.m. Friday call from Washington Avenue about a marijuana smell in an apartment building.

An officer investigated a 9:29 p.m. Friday report from Monroe Avenue about people trespassing.

Officers investigated a 10:28 p.m. Friday call from 8th Avenue about a hit and run.

Aaron Charles Morsette, 36, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, trespassing and resisting arrest after officers responded to an 11:45 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street establishment about a man who would not leave.

James Daniel Reynolds, 22, of Havre was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, failure to carry or produce proof of insurance and aggravated driving under the influence after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 1:52 a.m. Saturday on 1st Street West.

Officers investigated a 10:44 a.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street business about a noninjury motor vehicle crash between a Dodge Magnum and a white Mazda.

Veronica Mae Moccasin, 27, of Hays was arrested on charges of violation of conditions of release, theft and criminal contempt after officers investigated a 4 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street business about a theft from a purse and vehicle.

Officers investigated a 7:14 p.m. Saturday call from Lincoln Avenue about someone knocking on the reporting party’s door.

Chad Joseph Woundedface, 29, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers investigated a 7:57 p.m. Saturday call from Boulevard Avenue about a man trying to get into homes.

Stephen Michael McDonald, 29, of Havre was issued a summons for a charge of dog at large after officers investigated a 1:31 p.m. Sunday call from 9th Avenue Northwest about a white husky running around chasing cats.

Kathleen Dalynn Erwin, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault after officers investigated a 5:48 p.m. Sunday call from 3rd Street about a domestic disturbance in progress where a woman was screaming in the background.

Fernando Herminio Bautista, 22, of Havre was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct and probation violation after officers investigated a 10:01 p.m. Sunday call from Northern Montana Hospital about a patient running away from the emergency room.

Jose Albertoguado Olin, 22, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer served it to him at 12:45 a.m. Monday on 1st Street.

Officers investigated an 8:13 a.m. Monday call from 15th Street about a red Dodge Dakota stolen during the night.

Tysha Michelle Williams, 40, of Havre was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 2:47 p.m. Monday on 10th Street.

Craig Lawrence, 28, of Havre was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license, no insurance and on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer made a motor vehicle stop on 10th Street at 4:03 p.m. Monday.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies searched for and were unable to locate a red Pontiac in which it was said two children were not strapped in, including a baby held by a woman in the front seat after receiving a 12:19 p.m. Monday call from U.S. Highway 2 Northwest.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Friday, two calls Saturday, one call Sunday, six calls Monday and two this morning.

Firefighters were called to the Milk River around 12:45 p.m. Saturday to save a dog hanging onto a chunk of ice in the river. They put on cold suits and rescued the dog, which looked like it had been in the water for some time. It was taken to a veterinarian.

Firefighters were called to the 900 Block of 18th Street at 12:48 p.m. Monday to investigate what turned out to be a false alarm at Havre High School. There was no smoke and firefighters reset the alarms.
