Library News and Views: 'Found' is a real find

By Francine Brady

If you are a Harlan Coben fan, you will want to read his latest book, "Found."

This is his third young adult novel in the Mickey Bolitar series.  In "Found," Coben gives readers an insight into the young lives of high school students, their friendships and involvement in sports.

The exhumation of a grave and the return of the "Bat Lady" get the young members of the Abenoda Shelter involved in a new mystery that has so many twists and shocks readers will be compelled to read until the story ends.

Eight months after the death of Mickey's father, his mother is in drug rehab and he is in the care of his famous uncle Myron Bolitar. As members of the Abenoa Shelter — a secret society that helps rescue children and teens — Mickey and his friends Ema, Rachel and Spoon set out to find Ema's online boyfriend who suddenly becomes a missing person.

Their search not only leads them into the life of the mysterious boyfriend, but also the world of steroids and sports.  Luther, the paramedic who brought mystery and sorrow into Mickey's life is now trying to kill Mickey. Will the "Bat Lady" be able to save any of the young classmates? Will they find the missing boyfriend or is he a figment of Ema's imagination? Is Mr. Bolitar really dead?  Check out "Found" at the Havre-Hill County Library and find out.

"Found" is a recommended read for adults and young adults who enjoy a fast-paced thriller.  It will leave you wanting more.
