Nolan Ron Simanton, 19, of Malta and Nathan Alexander Veit, 19, of Malta were issued summonses each on a charge of discharge of a weapon within city limits after officers investigated a 12:13 p.m. Friday call from Montana State University-Northern about people in a white pick up truck shooting gophers.

James Edward Inman, 65, of Chinook was issued a summons on a charge of violation of child restraint after officers responded to a 12:56 p.m. Friday call from 3rd Street about someone driving with a baby in their lap.

Officers investigated a 4:39 p.m. Friday call from 5th Street about a house that was broken into and three guns stolen.

A motor vehicle crash that caused injuries was investigated after officers responded to a 5:26 p.m. Friday call from 4th Avenue.

Tyler Kim The Boy, 24, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Melanie Olive Rosette, 33, of Great Falls was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing a peace office and on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 12:33 a.m. Saturday call from 1st Street Northeast about people fighting.

Sharon Lee Parsons, 27, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 4:31 a.m. Saturday call from Washington Avenue about a woman trying to kick in a door.

Officers investigated a 5:31 a.m. Saturday call from 16th Avenue about a man opening the calling party’s mailbox.

Daniel Martinez, 21, of Tucson, Arizona, was issued a summons on charges of violation of a protective order and criminal contempt after officers responded to a 7:27 a.m. Saturday call from 14th Street about the calling party receiving phone calls and texts from a man she has a protective order against.

Chelsea Larae Lohman, 22, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after she called police at 12:35 p.m. Saturday from 2nd Street for assistance with removing her sister.

Britney Spottedbird, 26, of Box Elder was issued a summons on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 3:12 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street West business about a woman throwing drinks at people.

Officers investigated a 4:16 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street West business about the calling party’s husband just picking her up from jail, them getting into a fight and then she and her son getting kicked out of a truck with her son, no shoes or phone.

Kevin Wayne Coleman, 29, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt after a 7:26 p.m. Saturday 24/7 Sobriety Program violation at the police station.

Laura L. Wheeler, 30, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of criminal contempt after officers responded to an 8:55 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street establishment about a woman with a suspended sentence on the premises.

Officers investigated a 10:59 p.m. Saturday call from a 1st Street establishment about the calling party being threatened by customers.

Ezell Junior Ross, 35, of Everett, Washington, was arrested on a charge of trespassing after officers responded to a 3:22 a.m. Sunday call from the Amtrak station about a trespasser on BNSF property.

A 16-year-old was issued a summons on charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer, being a social host and minor in possession; a 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer, and MIP; James William White, 19, of Hingham and Gilbert Michael Bara, 20, of Havre were issued summonses each on charges of MIP and endangering the welfare of children; Clayton Blade Midgett, 19, of Havre was issued summons on a charge of endangering the welfare of children; and a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old were issued summonses each on MIP after officers investigated a 7:02 a.m. Sunday call from 9th Street about a noise complaint.

Kevin Wayne Coleman, 29, of Havre and Christina Mary Converse, 36, of Havre were issued summonses each on charges of criminal contempt after officers investigated an 8 a.m. Sunday 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Two arrests were made after officers investigated a 12:22 p.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street business about six adolescents detained for shoplifting.

Officers investigated a 7:54 p.m. Sunday call from the Havre area about a stolen black Dell laptop.

Officers investigated a 4:40 a.m. call this morning from 6th Avenue about the calling party’s neighbors having a domestic dispute.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Juanita Marie Hilton, 29, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to a 6:52 a.m. Saturday call from the Havre area.

Marvin Lee Cure, 37, of Box Elder was arrested on two Justice or City court warrants after deputies investigated suspicious activity at 9:30 a.m. Saturday on U.S. Highway 87.

Sampson Frank David Mayer, 29, of Havre was arrested on charges of two counts of assault on a peace or judicial officer, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct after deputies responded to an 11:24 p.m. Saturday call from 70th Avenue West.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Friday, two calls Saturday and three calls Sunday.

Firefighters were called to the 100 Block of 15th Avenue at 4:13 p.m. Sunday to investigate smoke from a backyard. The firestarters had been burning leaves, realized they needed a permit and put the fire out before firefighters arrived.
