Havre High preregistration session and open house set for April 13

Staff report

Students starting their high school career at Havre High School next fall are asked to meet Monday, April 13, to find out what they need to do to enroll and to graduate four years later.

The assembly for students and their parents or guardians starts at 6:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium, a press release says.

School representatives will give packets of information about the high school curriculum at the meeting, including forms for students to use to list the courses they wish to take.

For Havre Middle School students, the form, “Subject Selection Sheet,” must be completed and taken to the middle school by Monday, April 20, for students online registration.

Students of St. Jude Thaddeus School will register at St. Jude’s Monday, April 20.

The April 13 meeting includes information about high school graduation programs, college preparatory programs, changes to curriculum and how preregistration is done.

An open house will be held after the session, with high school staff members in the classrooms to talk with students and parents about class selection and answer questions about other issues. The open house will allow students and parents to become familiar with the high school and meet some of the school staff members.
