Shane was born on Oct. 8, 1986, in Havre to Russell and Tacy (Jimison) Boucher.  He was raised in Havre, graduating from Havre High School. While in school, Shane was very involved in wrestling, both in junior high and high school. After graduation, he attended MSU-Northern briefly, but school was not for him. Shane found his calling working as an explosives expert for Tessla Exploration. He loved his work, and it took him all over the country. In late 2014, Shane returned to Havre and began working at MSU-Northern as a groundskeeper.

Shane enjoyed outdoor activities, hunting and camping. He loved working on cars, target practicing and spending time with his friends and family. Shane absolutely adored his family and was incredibly proud of his nephew and nieces. He was widely traveled and boasted that he had been in all but five of the country's 50 states. His true love, however, was music. He loved playing drums and the guitar and writing music.

Shane was preceded in death by his brother, Cody Boucher; his grandfathers, Earl "Tony" Boucher, Ronald Jimison, and Guy "Rudy" Rudicil; his grandmother, Lillian Kaleva; his great-grandparents, Hector and Artie Boucher, Carl Jimison, and Mae Lapp; his uncle Ron Boucher; and his cousin, Jim Allison.

He is survived by his mother Tacy (Richard) Barrios of Imperial Beach, California; his father, Russell (Pam) Boucher of Havre; his brothers, Jesse and Jacob; his sister, Mary; his stepsiblings, Jillian (Brady), Lindsey (Jeff), Garrette and Vincent (Zayra); his nephew, Bentley; his nieces, Brystol and Willa; his grandmother, Diane Rudicil; his stepgrandmother, Dorothy Fraser; his aunts, Judy (Greg) Bostic, Tanya (Dan) Bedford and ToniAnn Gordon; his uncle, Larry Boucher; and numerous beloved cousins, extended family and many, many friends.
