Edwin Frank Converse, 59, of Havre was arrested on a state District Court warrant at 7:20 a.m. Tuesday at the police station.

Two people were arrested after officers investigated a 3:32 p.m. Tuesday call from a 9th Street location about a marijuana smell.

Loren Enright Bacon, 35, of Box Elder was arrested on a charge of shoplifting and Kellie Georgiana Russette, 38, of Rocky Boy was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after officers responded to a 4:11 p.m. Tuesday call from a 1st Street business about a man and a woman shoplifting.

Officers investigated a 6:03 p.m. Tuesday call from Legion Park about a juvenile boy taking the calling party’s fishing pole and punching her in the back when she tried to get it back.

Two people were arrested after officers responded to a 9:27 p.m. Tuesday call from 3rd Avenue about the calling party hearing people fighting and slamming things around. No other information was given.

Kachina Ann Gielarowski, 34, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 1:08 a.m. Wednesday call from a 1st Street establishment.

Timothy Lee Dennis, 32, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant after an officer served it to him at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday on 5th Avenue.

Officers investigated a 10:10 a.m. Wednesday call from Havre High School about the calling party’s daughter receiving unwanted text messages.

Officers investigated a 1:38 p.m. Wednesday call from Boulevard Avenue about someone stealing the calling party’s check.

Joseph Raymond Moore, 22, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of assault with bodily fluid, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, trespassing, criminal mischief or vandalism and criminal contempt after officers responded to a 2:40 p.m. Wednesday call from 1st Street Northeast about a man trespassing and breaking property.

Officers investigated a 3:01 p.m. Wednesday call from a 3rd Avenue business about a woman trying to cash a stolen check.

Officers investigated a 4:16 p.m. Wednesday report at the police station about the complainant’s identity being stolen.

Officers investigated a 5:43 p.m. Wednesday report at the police station about a stolen cellphone.

Michael George Martinez, 43, of Harlem and David Austin Corcoran, 24, of Havre were issued summonses on charges of disorderly conduct after officers investigated a 7:09 p.m. Wednesday call from Smithville Road about two men fighting and then going into a residence.

James Richard Lowrance, 24, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of theft after officers investigated an 8:20 p.m. Wednesday call from 1st Street about a woman who had the calling party’s dog and would not give it back.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Someone was arrested after deputies assisted a citizen at 9:15 a.m. Tuesday after a call about the calling party’s sisted walking on the highway to her mother’s house.

Deputies investigated a 12:03 p.m. Tuesday call from a Box Elder business about an assault.

Indian Leider, 22, of Rocky Boy was arrested a charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license and no insurance after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 11:46 p.m. Tuesday on Old Post Road.

Deputies investigated a 10:29 p.m. Wednesday call from 6th Street North about a man sitting in the middle of the road and appear to be drunk, bleeding for the head, wearing no shoes and wearing a black hoodie.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday.

Firefighters were called to the 1400 Block of 1st Street at 4:31 p.m. Tuesday to address a vehicle that had struck a gas line and ruptured it. Firefighters stood by until NorthWestern Energy was able to fix the leak.

Animal Shelter

A male black cat was placed in the shelter Jan. 20, a male black cat Feb. 20, a male tan and white mix-breed dog March 30 and a male tan, brown and white collie mix March 31.

Births

A girl was born to Helen and Mark Waldner of Havre March 31, 2015.
