Havre Police Department

Officers investigated a 7:04 a.m. Tuesday call from Pike Street about two vehicles that were broken into and some tools and change taken from them.

Christina Mary Converse, 36, of Havre was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant at 7:27 a.m. Tuesday at the police station.

Officers investigated a 7:32 a.m. Tuesday call from Montana Avenue about a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am being broken into and a stereo stolen.

Officers investigated a 9:10 a.m. Tuesday call from McKinley Avenue about someone opening the door of the calling party’s Trailblazer and cutting wires.

Officers investigated a 9:23 a.m. Tuesday call from Montana Avenue about a vehicle that was broken into and a cashier’s check stolen.

Officers investigated a 12:27 p.m. Tuesday call from 7th Avenue about a brown leather wallet with flowers on it that was stolen from the calling party’s purse.

Officers investigated a 12:58 p.m. Tuesday report at the police station about someone finding a bag of property by his garage door.

Officers investigated a 2:06 p.m. Tuesday call from Havre High School about a stolen flute.

Three people were arrested at 2:35 p.m. Tuesday on 1st Street Northeast after an officer investigated a disturbance. No other information was provided.

Officers investigated a 4:12 p.m. Tuesday call from 2nd Street about the calling party’s daughter assaulting her.

Velma Madla Bahr, 67, of Havre was arrested on a charge of disorderly conduct after officers assisted a citizen at Northern Montana Hospital at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Officers investigated a 10:15 p.m. Tuesday call from a 1st Street business about a ’90s red Silverado making a gas drive-off.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 4:22 p.m. Tuesday call from River Road about a theft of a High Point .45 caliber pistol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and two this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 800 Block of 4th Street at 7:28 p.m. Tuesday to investigate what turned out to be smoke from burnt food that set fire detectors off.

Animal Shelter

A male tan and white mix-breed dog was placed in the shelter March 30, a male tan pit bull-mix April 1 and a female red and tan pit bull-mix April 9.
