The following cases were resolved by Havre City Judge Virginia Seigel in February.

Chad Joseph Woundedface, born in 1986, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and three credited, for criminal contempt. In a later case, Woundedface was sentenced to 10 days in jail, six days suspended and 4 credited, for disorderly conduct.

Malinda Marie Descharm, born in 1989, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 110 days suspended and 70 credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant. In a subsequent case, Descharm was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 110 days suspended and 70 credited, for unauthorized use of a vehicle.

Timothy William Mahns, born in 1971, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Joshua James Fredrick Nimmick, born in 1978, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, for negligent endangerment, amended from aggravated DUI.

Michael Scott Morsette, born in 1983, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, six days suspended, for disorderly conduct and was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended and four credited, for resisting arrest.

Jonathan Aaron Currie, born in 1992, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Chalon Michael Kinholt, born in 1982, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and fined $1,030 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 342 days suspended and 23 credited, for partner or family member assault, causing injury. In a later case, Kinholt was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for obstructing justice. In a subsequent case, Kinholt, was fined $400 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended for criminal trespass to property; was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct; and was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt. In yet another case, Kinholt was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for privacy in communications, first offense, and was fined $400 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt. In a fifth case, Kinholt was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt and sentenced to 365 days in jail, all days suspended for stalking, first offense. In a sixth case, Kinholt was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt and was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, all days suspended, for privacy in communications, second offense, amended from first offense. In a seventh case, Kinholt was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 day in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt and was fined $500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal trespass to property. In his eighth case, Kinholt was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, all days suspended, for violation of a protective order, first offense.

Jara Danae Gray, born in 1992, forfeited $250 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Mccord Garrett Parks, born in 1985, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364days suspended and one credited, for negligent endangerment, amended from DUI, second offense.

John Edward Derry III, born in 1979, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days credited, for each of two charges: driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense, and forfeited $385 bond on the case.

Michael Thomas Rider, born in 1982, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kenneth Schweitzer, born in 1962, was fined $1,000 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, for negligent endangerment, amended from DUI, first offense.

Adelle Delaine Koop, born in 1983, was found guilty of failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense, no fine or sentence listed.

Maunaloa Maria Brockie, born in 1979, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days credited, for disorderly conduct.

Tanner Joseph Walker, born in 1982, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal trespass to property and was fined $100 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Rochelle Lynn Jones, born in 1988, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended and five credited, for criminal mischief, pecuniary loss less than $1,500; was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended and five credited, for criminal contempt; and was ordered to pay $50 restitution on the case.

Sheldon Dale Corner, born in 1976, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and one credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $175 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, nine days suspended and one credited, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Lakota Cree Shields, born in 1996, was fined $100, sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal trespass to vehicles and was fined $100, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Christina Mary Converse, born in 1978, pleaded guilty to criminal contempt in two cases, no fines or sentences listed. In another case, Converse was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for criminal contempt.

Daniel Gage Miller, born in 1995, was fined $350 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense.

Amy June Leo, born in 1980, forfeited $250 bond for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Charlotte Ann Gregori, born in 1973, was fined $100 and sentence to 10 days in jail, nine days suspended and one credited, for disorderly conduct, amended from partner or family member assault, causing injury.

Chanin Janae Bradford, born in 1977, was fined $100 for operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense.

——

David Matthew Heydon, born in 1978, was fined $150 for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Christine Louise Hostetler, born in 1963, pleaded guilty to operating a vehicle with expired registration, failure to register, no fine or sentence listed.

Milo Montgomery Moore, born in 1992, was fined $250 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Gordon Dean Myers, born in 1957, was fined $250 and sentenced to two days in jail for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Kyle James Provencher, born in 1995, was fined $285, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of dangerous drugs, and was fined $100, sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Dana James Woods, born in 1993, was fined $200 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Crystal Dawn Moreno, born in 1980, was ordered to pay $41 restitution and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 150 days suspended and four credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense. In a later case, Moreno was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for each of two charges: obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and assault.

Donna Merle Cobell Rainingbird, born in 1959, was fined $1,500, ordered to pay $9.25 restitution, and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, second offense.

Celestine Rose Plante, born in 1981, was fined $100 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for permitting unauthorized minor to drive.

Pearl Cochran, born in 1954, was fined $250 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Rosella Kathyrne Lienhart, born in 1958, was fined $100 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Larae Ann Sunchild, born in 1981, was sentence to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended, for criminal contempt and was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for a second count of criminal contempt. In a later case, Sunchild was was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 173 days suspended, and two credited, for criminal contempt. In another case, Sunchild was sentenced to 180 day in jail, 173 days suspended and two credited, for criminal contempt.

Patrick George Cole, born in 1979, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended and two credited, for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Dawn Marie Turner, born in 1976, was fined $150 for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

——

Clay Allison Ray, born in 1961, was fined $50, sentenced to 90 days in jail, 88 days suspended, and given a deferred imposition of sentence. for privacy in communications, first offense.

Andrew Scott Jacquin, born in 1995, was fined $100, sentenced to 365 days in jail, 364 days suspended and one credited, and given a deferred imposition of sentence, for partner or family member assault, causing injury.

In February, Judge Seigel also dealt with 37 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, as well as 62 charges that were dismissed by her or the prosecution. Seigel transferred four citations to another court, one citation was deferred by the prosecution and one was voided by the ticketing agency. Additionally, one suspended sentence or deferred imposition of sentencing was revoked and reinstated.
