Summer parks and rec program registrations set

Registration for all summer recreation programs and swim lessons will begin Monday, June 8, at 8 a.m., at the lobby of the Havre Community Pool.

After June 8, phone registration for programs is acceptable.The only registration taken before this date will be early bird signup 10 a.m. to noon Sunday, May 31, and Sunday, June 7.

The Pepin Park program will begin Monday, June 15. Games, crafts, special events, fun will be held for elementary school-age children. The program is held in Pepin Park Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m.

Craft activities and special events begin at 1 p.m.

The Pepin Park Program will be closed Friday, July 3.

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department will told  its 2015 tennis lesson program. Two sessions will be offered June 15-July 2 and July 6-24.

Lessons for beginners, intermediate and advanced will be offered. For further information call 265-5781 or 265-8161.

The Havre Community Pool’s swim lesson program will begin Monday, June 15. Four two-week group lesson sessions will be offered for children age 3 and up. For further information call 265-8161.
