Northern dean wins $75,000 from harassment case

Randy Bachmeier, a Montana State University-Northern dean, was awarded $75,000 in the Bachmeier v. MSU-Northern sexual harassment and retaliation case.

The Montana Human Rights Bureau ruled Wednesday in favor of Bachmeier in that MSU-Northern,as the employer of former provost Rosalyn Templeton, retaliated against him the day after he asked her to stop touching him.

MSU-Northern was also found to have retaliated against him when former Chancellor James Limbaugh told others that Bachmeier was not eligible for the new provost position.
