Obituary - Ardell C. Peterson

Ardell C. Peterson, long-time North Havre resident, died Sunday, May 10, 2015, at the age of 84 due to Alzheimer's.  

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015, at the Havre Assembly of God Church, with viewing one hour prior. Memorial donations may be made to Your Network of Praise, PO Box 2426, Havre, MT  59501, or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Ardell was born Feb. 19, 1931 to Russell and Mary Whitson. She was the eldest of two girls. She was raised on the family farm north of Havre and then lived there most of her life. Ardell married Wilfred Peterson in 1951. They were blessed with two daughters, Beverly and Cheryl, whom they raised on the farm.

Ardell enjoyed cooking, gardening, being with her family, attending church and working with her husband doing farm and ranch work.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly (Reggie) Wilcott of Great Falls and Cheryl (Mugs) Morris of Havre; her grandchildren, Misty (Greg) Gardner of Littleton, Colorado, Melissa (Cody) Boe of Havre, Miranda (Gary) Garland of Havre, Jennifer (Carey) Hamrick of Great Falls and Bradley Wilcott of Great Falls; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Peterson; her parents, Russell and Mary Whitson; her sister, Darlene Seagraves
