Langel scholarship

Mackenzie Hansen, 2015 graduate of North Star High School in Rudyard, has been named the 2015 Tim Langel Memorial Scholarship recipient.

Hansen, daughter of Todd and Angie Hansen of Gildford, has been involved in everything during her high school career, from sports to music, class government, church youth group, FCCLA, Skills USA, BPA and HOBY.

She has received honors for academic all-state in volleyball and basketball for four years and track and field for two years. She has also been the class president for the past two years. In addition, she has helped in the community with cleaning parks...
