Chinook's Gavin Gunderson will play one more high school football game Saturday as he competes in the annual Badlands Bowl between Montana and North Dakota. Gunderson is one of just two Class C players selected to the team.
Gavin Gunderson put together a tremendous senior season in football last fall. But, his days of putting on the helmet and shoulder pads aren't over quite yet, as he will play in the 2015 Badlands Bowl this Saturday.
The Badlands Bowl, which pits standout high school players from Montana and North Dakota against each other, will take place Saturday in Miles City. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m.
Gunderson, who helped lead the Chinook Sugarbeeters to the doorstep of the Class C 8-Man football state championship this fall, was one of the few 8-man football players to earn a spot on the roster.
