Lineweaver awarded by state CPA association

Press release

The Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants has announced that Curt Lineweaver, CPA at Anderson ZurMuehlen in Havre, has been presented the Outstanding Committee Member Award for 2014-2015.

Lineweaver played an influential role in the development of a rural chapter to give greater access to education and networking opportunities to accounting professionals in Montana's less populated areas, a press release says. The new rural chapter of the state association will provide quarterly webcasts and discussions to the hundreds of CPAs working in smaller Montana towns.

Lineweaver's dedication to the accounting profession, and to the state association, exemplifies true leadership.

This award is given by the society's board of directors to those whose participation in committee works influences greater success.

Lineweaver is a Joplin native and a graduate of Carroll College in Helena.

The Montana Society of CPAs is the state's largest professional accounting association comprised of more than 1700 members worldwide. The mission of the Montana Society of Certified Public Accountants is to inspire, empower and impact members to achieve professional excellence.
