An officer assisted with a prisoner transport from Great Falls to Havre at 12:26 p.m. Wednesday.

James David Berger Jr., 36, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release after officers assisted another agency at 1:53 p.m. Wednesday on 1st Street West.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons after officers responded to a 1:59 p.m. Wednesday call from the Havre Skate Park reporting someone was selling drugs. An offense was not listed.

A 13-year-old was issued a summons at 2:04 p.m. Wednesday on 7th Street. An offense was not listed.

Crystal Dawn Horn, 43, of Havre was arrested on a charge of criminal contempt after officers responded to a 4:38 p.m. Wednesday call from 17th Street West about someone needed help retrieving her keys.

Officers investigated an 8:23 p.m. Wednesday call from 11st Street West about the calling party’s blue Chevrolet Cobalt having scrapes on the door and a dent in the hood while it was parked at the hospital.

Kurt Allan Eagleman, 35, of Havre was arrested on charges of probation violation, carrying a concealed weapon while intoxicated and carrying a concealed weapon when prohibited after officers assisted another agency at 11 p.m. Wednesday on 1st Street.

Two people were arrested after officers responded to a 12:53 a.m. call from 3rd Street this morning about a man trying to break into the house. No names or charges were listed.

Two people were arrested after an officer made a motor vehicle stop at 5:02 a.m. this morning on Lincoln Avenue. No names or charges were listed.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated an 8:16 a.m. Wednesday call from 80 Road North about a burnt vehicle on the calling party’s property.

Deputies investigated a 9:36 a.m. Wednesday call from Gildford about a missing mail box.

Russel James Weaving, 42, of Box Elder was arrested on a state District Court warrant and transported from Rocky Boy Detention Center to Hill County Detention Center at 3:07 p.m. Wednesday.

Deputies investigated a 9:12 p.m. Wednesday call from Smithville Road about a tenant being beat up.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Wednesday and one call this morning.

Firefighters were called to the 400 Block of 5th Avenue at 9:29 a.m. Wednesday to investigate an odor. The smell was caused by a ballast overheating in a flourescent light.

Firefighters were called to the 100 Block of 13th Street West at 10:36 a.m. The call was caused by a false alarm.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male mix-breed dog was placed in the shelter May 8, a tan female pit bull June 18, a male black Labrador July 3, a black and white female cat July 13, a gray and white female kitten July 15 and a brown and black male mix-breed dog July 20.

Births

A boy was born to Ashley Parker and Colin Daychild of Box Elder July 22, 2015.
