The opening game of the 2015 Montana State University-Northern football season is exactly a month away. And the Havre Daily News will have extensive previews and coverage of the Lights and the Frontier Conference, starting in Friday and Monday's HDN.
The Montana State University-Northern football team doesn’t play a Frontier Conference game until Sept. 5 when the Lights host the Montana Tech Orediggers at Blue Pony Stadium.
However, Northern’s first season under head coach Aaron Christensen is still rapidly approaching. Because Northern opens the season with an Aug. 22 visit to Dickinson State University, the Lights will begin fall camp in less than two weeks.
And with the Lights getting ready to go, the Havre Daily News will be kicking off its annual coverage of both the Lights, and of the 2015 Frontier Conference season.
