The website http://www.myneighborinneed.org/havre provides local citizens a way to ask for help from their community and a way for community members to give back to those in need.

Current Needs

Neighbor in Need — An older lady who is new in town is in need of a used or new coffee table. She is currently using a cardboard box. If you can help, please call My Neighbor in Need-Havre at 406-301-3919. The need identification number is: Havre 127.

Neighbor in Need — A community-minded woman seeking employment is in need of a used, clean, queen mattress and box spring. She is currently sleeping on an older couch. If you can help, please call My Neighbor in Need-Havre at 406-301-3919. The need identification number is: Havre 120.

Neighbor in Need — A hard-working young man just moved into his own place and does not have a bed to sleep on and has been using his recliner. He is in need of a used, clean queen-size bed with mattress and box spring)for him and his small son to share. If you can help, please call My Neighbor in Need-Havre at 406-301-3919. The need identification number is: Havre 117.

Neighbor in Need — An elderly woman is in need of a used, working dryer. Her dryer no longer works, and she desperately needs a dryer. We had a donor but it fell through so we are once again asking for the community’s help to fulfill this need. If you can help, please call My Neighbor in Need-Havre at 406-301-3919. The need identification number is: Havre 07.

Neighbor in Need — A disabled woman on disability is in need of a used, working washing machine. Her washing machine is no longer working. She struggles with transportation issues and being able to make it to the laundromat. If you can help, please call My Neighbor in Need-Havre at 406-301-3919. The need identification number is: Havre 80.

Then click on the Current Needs tab. Find a need request and click on the Fulfill This Need button. Financial need donations are made directly to the business that will fulfill the need.

Request help at http://www.myneighborinneed.org by completing the Request a Need form and clicking submit. If you do not have Internet access, call 406-301-3919 for Havre or 406-357-8080 for Chinook. You can also pick-up an application at HRDC, 2229 5th Ave.
