Gallery Lounge wins Montana men's state title at Sixth Avenue Memorial Field
The Gallery Lounge fastpitch softball team poses for a photo after winning the Montana Men's State Fastpitch Tournament championship game Sunday afternoon at the Sixth Avenue Memorial Field. The team has won several state championships over the last decade, and pitcher Gary Joe Evans continues to add to his own championship total.
The Montana State Men's Fastpitch state tournament was back in Havre this past weekend for the second straight year but, unlike last year, it was a hometown team that walked away with the title.
Last season, the Press Box team from Missoula knocked off the Gallery Lounge of Havre in the championship game to win the state championship. But, the Gallery team was not at full strength as the roster was split up in order to create more teams for last year's tournament.
